Lauren King
Lauren King, CPA, serves as Vice President of Finance for Outdoor Venture Corporation in Stearns, Kentucky, where she oversees financial operations, federal contract compliance, and strategic financial planning. She previously served as Director of Finance for the McCreary County School District, managing financial operations and the financial components of federal and state grant compliance.
A McCreary County native, Lauren earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Kentucky and began her career with Crowe LLP. She is passionate about supporting rural communities and improving access to quality healthcare. Lauren also serves as Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors for the Somerset-Pulaski County Humane Society. She lives in Somerset with her husband, Steven, and their two sons, Eli and Wesley.
