What medications are safe to take during pregnancy?

If you develop the need for OTC medication use during pregnancy, the following are considered safe (if you do not have any allergies or medical condition resulting in your inability to take them)

  • Tylenol
  • Loratadine
  • Diphenhydramine
  • Cough Drops
  • Bacitracin or Neosporin Ointment
  • Tums
  • Calamine lotion
  • Orajel
  • Icy hot cream
