Family Medical Centers Earns Five National Recognitions for Excellence in Healthcare Quality

Family Medical Centers has earned five 2026 Community Health Quality Recognition badges from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), recognizing excellence in clinical quality, diabetes health, behavioral health, preventive care, and health information technology.

The annual recognitions are based on results from the most recent Uniform Data System reporting period and celebrate health centers that demonstrate exceptional performance in patient care, health outcomes, access, and technology.

2026 Recognitions

Health Center Quality Leader – Gold
Family Medical Centers ranked among the top 10% of health centers nationwide for overall clinical quality measure performance.

National Quality Leader – Diabetes Health
This recognition reflects strong performance in diabetes-related prevention and health outcomes, including weight assessment, nutrition and physical activity counseling, and diabetes control.

National Quality Leader – Behavioral Health
Family Medical Centers demonstrated high performance in behavioral health measures involving depression screening and follow-up, depression remission, and screening and intervention for substance use.

Preventive Health
This recognition highlights achievement across multiple preventive care measures, including recommended screenings, counseling, early childhood services, tobacco cessation, and cancer prevention.

Advancing Health Information Technology for Quality
Family Medical Centers was recognized for effectively using health information technology to improve patient care through telehealth, electronic clinical information exchange, patient engagement, and the collection of information related to patients’ health-related social needs.
